Support Structures – Acroyoga for Yogis with Jill Campbell
Thursdays November 28, December 5 and December 12, 7:30pm to 9pm @ Mile End

You asked for it.

Jill Campbell is thrilled to present an acroyoga series designed for you.
Learn to stack bodies and lean into one another. Each class will offer unique content.

This is about precarious balancing, exhilarating trust and human safety nets, all using yogic breath and body awareness to find grace.

Our individual yoga is brought into being when we share space and collaborate. Acroyoga gives us the opportunity to live in equilibrium with others and challenge what we think is possible by working together.

Physicality, giggles, challenges and ah-ha moments are to be expected.

Come ready to play. Come ready to learn. Come ready to surprise yourself cause you can totally do this!

Classes are bilingual.

– Wear fitted clothes that move easily
– Come alone or with a partner or in a group
– Bring a yoga mat
– Don’t forget your sense of adventure

Essence Danse with Chloé Robertson
Saturday December 7, 7:30pm to 9pm @ Mile End

Dance has been part of our way of speaking since the beginning of time. The rhythm interlacing with the body, making it move. The sound of music that allows us to speak a language without words and infinite. Essence Dance.

Let your essence dance. No need to be good, to be beautiful or to pretend anything. A moment to let yourself move freely. To be free.

A moment for yourself and to be part of a group that is committed to creating a respectful and welcoming space where everyone can take their place, together. A moment to live and dare to find its deep and authentic origins and let them dance!

All are welcome, without any prerequisites other than to choose to be there!

Yoga Nidra with Patricia Saraswati
Thursday January 9, 7:30pm to 8:30pm @ Mile End

Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of lucid sleep. It is a traditional technique for profound relaxation, letting the different “bodies” or Koshas relax. The benefits can be felt on the physical, energetic and emotional bodies. By using rotation exercices of the spirit inside the body, breathing techniques as well as visualization techniques, it induces a profound relaxation state.

Practiced laying down, it gives a conscious access to the unconscious so we can install a personal resolution, a “Sankalpa” that allows it to get closer to its aspirations. Yoga Nidra allows us to widen our consciousness and to develop our potential in latency by cultivating the zones of our brain that are generally unused. It reeducates sleep and represents a bridge to awakening.

Man’s Brave Circle with Will Charbonneau
Thursday January 16 7:30pm to 9pm @ Mile End

Men’s Brave circle is an event for ANY Male identifying person to come share their thoughts, emotions and beliefs.

This event will begin with an introduction and a short meditation followed by 30 minutes of light movement (think yin, flow, kundalini).

Once the blood and breath start flowing we will segway into an open conversation on masculinity, our roles in our community and how we can better support ourselves and the ones we love.

Through open conversation & connection games we’ll go deep into our conditioning, our beliefs and how we can turn our closed fists into open palms.

We’ll end with a short guided meditation.

On donation!
